The virus continues to circulate in the French part

MARIGOT: The last report by the Regional Health Agency (ARS) reports 76 new cases recorded in the territory for the period from March 28 to April 3 against 88 the previous week.

It should be noted that since Monday April 4th (results in progress week 14), 40 new cases have been recorded out of 522 analyses carried out.

Slight increase in the weekly positivity rate

According to the SI-DEP ARS data, the incidence rate is 212.6/100,000 inhabitants compared to 246.2/100,000 the previous week.

The weekly positivity rate is up, with a rate of 3.5% compared with 3.4% the previous week.

The end of the state of health emergency means that certain measures will be repealed as of April 1. However, as in metropolitan territories, some administrative measures will remain in force in order to continue to fight against a resumption of the spread and protect the most vulnerable:

– The presentation of the health pass in health and medico-social establishments;

– The vaccination obligation, which is not linked to the state of health emergency, is still in force for health care personnel;

– Wearing a mask remains mandatory in public transportation (airplanes, buses and maritime shuttles).
