Update on the vaccination situation in the Northern Islands

MARIGOT: As of January 18, 2009, vaccination coverage in the general population of St. Martin was 37.9% for one dose (i.e. 13,403 people who received the first injection) and 35.3% for the full schedule (i.e. 12,463 people who received two doses).

The proportion of people who received a booster was 12%. Among people over 12 years of age, vaccination coverage was estimated at 47.1% for at least one dose, 43.9% for the full schedule and 14.9% for a booster.

Vaccination services in Sint Maarten are provided as follows:

– The Louis Constant Fleming Hospital receives by appointment (RDV on doctolib.fr) from Monday to Friday.

– In town in pharmacies.

– In doctors’ offices.

The vaccines available on the territory are PFIZER and MODERNA. Please note that each pharmacy or doctor is organized as he/she wishes; you should therefore contact them to find out how to make an appointment and/or visit.

In Saint Barths, the vaccination coverage in the general population was 82.8% for one dose (i.e. 8,249 people who received the first injection) and 79.3% for the full schedule (i.e. 7,901 people vaccinated with two doses). The proportion of people who received a booster was 43.1%.

Among people over 12 years of age, vaccination coverage was estimated at 94.2% for at least one dose, 90.3% for the full schedule and 49.1% for a booster.
