PIC PARADIS: On Friday, November 26, the Collectivité de Saint-Martin hosted a literary debate at Loterie Farm, organized as part of the Festival Écritures des Amériques which, for its 2021 edition, has scheduled a stopover in Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy.
Two writers led the literary discussion, the Franco-Mauritian author Caroline Laurent and Makenzy Orcel, Haitian author. A very interesting debate, moderated by author, Robert Romney.
The exchange took place in the presence of some guests, in an environment unfortunately restricted due to health constraints.
President Daniel Gibbs praised the quality of this event and the richness of the literary debate between the authors. He also thanked the organizers of the Festival for this first event in St. Martin as well as the teams of the Delegation for Human Development of the Collectivity who prepared this meeting.
