MARIGOT: For the week of November 1 to 7, 2021, there were 19 new cases recorded in the French part of the island, a figure which is decreasing since 39 cases were identified during the week before.
Taking into account the consolidated data of the previous weeks, this brings to 3,925 the number of cumulative cases of coronavirus confirmed on the territory since the beginning of the health crisis.
It should be noted that since November 7 (current week 45), 7 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified out of 638 tests performed.
In addition, as of November 10, one confirmed Covid-19 patient is hospitalized at the Louis-Constant Fleming Hospital.
Epidemiological indicators also show an improvement.
The incidence rate is falling and is just above the alert threshold, at 53.2/100 000 inhabitants, compared with 109.1/100 000 between 25 and 31 October. Finally, the weekly positivity rate is also decreasing. It remains below the vigilance threshold, with a rate of 1.1% from November 1 to 7, compared to 1.9% between October 25 and 31.
