MARIGOT: On Saturday, November 20, 2021, several marches against sexist and sexual violence will take place throughout France. This national mobilization is organized by “NousToutes”, a feminist collective gathering citizens. In St. Martin, the movement launched in 2018 will march for the first time under the name “NousToutes SXM”.
“With this march, we carry the will of an island in which violence has no place: intrafamily violence, domestic violence, sexual violence, psychological violence, street harassment, cyber stalking, pedocriminality, feminicides… The victims of this violence must be protected, accompanied and made safe,” emphasizes the organizing team of the march.
“With this march, we recall that it is a fundamental right to live free from violence in every family, company, administration, neighbourhood, school, hospital and association. In every living space, the question of violence must be asked. And treated. We are marching to say: STOP sexist and sexual violence! With this march, we carry the voice of all those among us who accumulate violence.
With this march, we carry the voice of children victims or co-victims of violence.
With this march, we carry the voice of those who can no longer speak.
We invite you to come and walk with us on Saturday, November 20.”
