POINTE BLANCHE: On Sunday, October 31, about twenty people participated in the visit of the natural pools of Pointe Blanche, an outing organized by the dynamic ACS ZEPIN (Association culturelle et sportive – Zone d’éducation prioritaire des îles du Nord).
Participants who had the pleasure of discovering, or even rediscovering, the beautiful pools of Pointe Blanche with their clear and attractive waters, overlooked by a beautiful green setting, following the wet weather that preceded the outing.
The trail was an opportunity to appreciate the neighbouring islands in the distance, and to share knowledge about their history and geography; high point, inhabitants, flora… The apotheosis was the bathing, for young and old, by a calm and protected sea.
The hike ended at about 5:30 pm, with an amusing quiz on the information retained during the visit, which allowed to reward the winners, and to take the time to recover with a snack served at sunset.
The Vice President of ACS ZEPIN, Leen Maud Minori-Mirre, would like to thank the participants for their enthusiasm and good humor.
The ZEPIN Cultural and Sports Association has been in existence since 1998, and continues to anchor and promote culture, sports, education and digital with youth and adults.
