MARIGOT: The latest health bulletin published by the Regional Health Agency reports 50 new cases recorded in Saint Martin for the period from July 5 to 11. This figure is stable since 52 cases were identified the week before. On the other hand, two people positive to Covid-19 have been identified with the Delta variant. This situation is being closely monitored by the health authorities.
Otherwise, as of July 13, 9 patients confirmed as having COVID are hospitalized at the Louis Constant Fleming Hospital, which represents a mobilization of more than 50% of the capacities of the COVID service. No EVASAN (medical evacuation) was carried out last week and no new deaths were reported.
Epidemiological indicators are stable, but vigilance is still required to avoid a further deterioration of the health situation. Indeed, the situation remains fragile and can change very quickly. According to the SI- DEP ARS data, the incidence rate, which is slightly decreasing, is still above the alert threshold, standing at 139.9/100,000 inhabitants compared to 145.5/100,000 the week before.
Finally, the weekly positivity rate is stable, below the vigilance threshold, with a rate of 1.8% from June 29 to July 5, identical to that of the previous week.
