St. Barth’s welcoming vaccinated tourists

Wednesday, June 9, 2021, the French government cleared the way for all fully-vaccinated travelers from the US to head to the island.

All US tourists must show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as well as show the negative results of a PCR test taken within 72 hours before traveling or an antigen test taken within 48 hours before boarding the first flight.

No further testing or quarantine required upon arrival.

A test is needed to return to the US at the end of the stay – (at the Red Cross tent in the large parking lot in St. Jean or Pharmacy in Gustavia or St. Jean.

Under 18 no vaccination but require a test.

Under 10 do not need a test or vaccine.

If traveling through Sint Maarten-Princess Juliana Airport-even if you are not spending a night in St. Martin/St. Maarten, travelers will need to pre-register to enter the airport.

The online form is called EHAS (Electronic Health Authorization System).

You will need the results of your PCR test to complete this form.

Please check with your airline and/or hotel/villa rental for any additional requirements.
