CC1 supports AWF’s spay/neuter campaign

SIMPSON BAY: Beverage distributor CC1 has extended a helping paw to aid St. Maarten Animal Welfare Foundation (AWF) with its ongoing spay/neuter campaign.

CC1’s marketing manager Agnetha Huijting recently presented a donation of US $913 raised from the sale of Tito’s Vodka to AWF board member Heather Caputo. The money was raised at the monthly Yappy Hour held at Dinghy Dock bar.

AWF is a long-time non-profit organization on the Dutch side of the island. It provides humane and responsible animal care to the community. The foundation also provides low-cost spay and neuter certificates to pet owners as a way of controlling the stray and unwanted population of dogs and cats.
