MARIGOT: Phase 1 of the renovation work at the Drinking Water Production Plant (UPEP) was completed during the first week of June. This important work is undertaken to secure the public service of drinking water distribution by increasing significantly the production capacity of the plant.
Phase 2 has been suspended for the time needed to replenish drinking water stocks, a key parameter during the hurricane season.
The EEASM announces the resumption of the works as from next week for an estimated duration of 6 weeks. The water disruption will resume simultaneously according to a schedule that will be communicated soon to allow users to organize themselves.
At the end of this phase 2, a new suspension of the works of the plant will take place, still the time to build up the stocks before a third and last phase.
