GALISBAY: The first edition was a success which combined historical knowledge of the island and sporting challenges. After marking the vehicles on the parking lot of Galisbay, a briefing and a warm-up of the participants, at precisely 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 24th, the 10 teams set out to discover the enigmas of the historical heritage of Saint Martin.
To make the historical discovery of the island more attractive, activities based on old-fashioned games were coupled. Thus, after having discovered the particularities of Fort Louis, or old farms, the candidates in teams were led to play “y ka y pa ka”, the wheel of the bolide or even, to carry out tests on the water. In some places, they had to send their position in real time via an application to justify their passage.
