MARIGOT: In view of the still high number of new cases of Covid-19, the Prefect, Serge Gouteyron, has decided to extend the curfew until June 17th. Curfew is from 8:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
As a reminder, the latest health bulletin published by Santé Publique France reports 111 new cases for the period from May 31st to June 6th. Since May 20th, 7 people have died (including 4 last week) and 13 medical evacuations to the University Hospital of Guadeloupe have been performed. As of June 11th, 10 people are hospitalized at the Louis Constant Fleming Hospital.
Because of these elements, the Prefect decided to extend the curfew until Thursday June 17th. Only people with a certificate1 and additional documents will be allowed to circulate during this period. Gendarmerie controls will be carried out.
