MARIGOT: In 1953, Robert, a young fisherman from Grand Case is in love with Jocelyne. She comes from a bourgeois family of Marigot. At that time, the tradition imposed that the interested party submit his request to court the girl’s family in writing. This was called the “WRITE IN”.
2021 being placed under the theme of ROMANCE, the Tourist Office in collaboration with Soualigan Slangs organizes a treasure hunt for two on Saturday, June 12th in the streets of Marigot from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. allowing you to rediscover the capital through the love story of Robert and Jocelyne.
Each team will be given a map of Marigot and the first clue at the time of registration. Once this one is solved, the location of the second clue will be revealed and so on until the love story is revealed in its entirety. Participants will have two hours to solve all the riddles and validate them via the application provided for this purpose before reaching the finish line.
