MEXICO: A gigantic hole has appeared in agricultural land on the edge of Santa María Zacatepec, Mexico. A city located only a hundred kilometers from the capital of the country: Mexico City. The chasm, which appeared at the end of May, continues to widen. It now threatens to engulf a neighboring house.
What initially was a “small” hole spotted on an agricultural property on the edge of a town quickly turned into a gigantic gaping hole.
Its diameter, originally five meters, has grown, passing to 30 meters, then 60 meters. Authorities have estimated that the holes has reached 80 meters.
