BRUSSELS: The 27 launched on Tuesday their technical platform intended to ensure the connection of “health passes”, which will allow, from July 1, to travel between Member States. The certificates that will be deposited there are intended to certify that a person is vaccinated, immunized following an infection or that he has passed a negative test.
A document – paper or digital – will then be provided and recognized throughout the EU. If the entry into force is expected in a month, ten countries have already connected to the infrastructure, among which seven states have started to issue their first certificates (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Croatia, Poland).
