Twoyoung footballers from St. Martin, full of talent, in the U13 category, have made their mark by brilliantlyobtainingtheirpassport to join the Pôle Espoir of the CREPS in Pointe-à-Pitre nextfall. A “first” for St. Martin’ssoccer!
Managers, parents, educators and players were recently gathered at the League’s premises to congratulate Kenjy Hon and Elie Nkpa on their brilliant performance in the entrance exam for the Pôle Espoir of the CREPS in Pointe-à-Pitre for the U13 category. “This is a historical event for our island,” said League President Aristide Conner. “This result is the fruit of your sacrifices, those of your parents and family, but I also wish to congratulate the joint work of the League and its technical advisor, Gilles Petit as well as that of the educators and coaches who supervise you all year round. This work has allowed us today to highlight the progression of all aspects of the game and I hope that you will open the way for other players in the future. We are proud that two young people from St. Martin will be able to represent our territory and the League in the best possible way in the future”.
