MARIGOT: On the initiative of the National Education Services of the Northern Islands, the 6th edition of Art en Fête will take place throughout the month of May. This year’s theme is Africa. The official opening is scheduled for today Monday, May 17th at the Lycée Professionnel des Iles du Nord.
The opportunity for students from different schools on the island to learn about today’s Africa through its geography, history and culture through exhibitions and several events.

Monday, May 17th at 4:30 p.m.: Official opening of L’art en fête 2021 at the Lycée professionnel des Iles du Nord
From May 17th to May 21st: Permanent exhibition of the achievements of students from Saint Martin, Africa honored through various events at the Lycée professionnel des Iles du Nord
Wednesday, May 19th at 9:00 a.m.: Video conference with the Beninese slammer, Djaho TOUSSAINT at the Collège Mont des Accords
Wednesday, May 19th and Friday, May 21st: Conference, music, song, dance and visual arts in honor of Africa at Lycée Robert Weinum
Thursday, May 20th at 9:00 a.m.: Collaborative performance by Mont des Accords Middle School and Hervé Williams and Emile Choisy schools at Mont des Accords Middle School
Friday, May 21st at 7:00 p.m.: Musical “Disney” by students from Soualiga Middle School, La Chapelle Theater, Orient Bay
Saturday, May 22nd at 7:00 p.m.: Play “L’Afrique sous toutes ses coutures” by students from Soualiga High School at La Chapelle Theater in Orient Bay Monday, May 31st at 7:00 p.m.: Concert by the CHAM music class, Presentation of the film “Les talents des personnels de l’éducation nationale” at the Galisbay parking lot
