BELAIR: The Belair Community Center has extended its opening hours for vaccine walk-ins on Tuesdays and Thursdays only to 8:00pm.
Due to Ascension Day, a public holiday on Thursday, May 13, neither of the two vaccination locations – Belair or the Collective Prevention Service will be opened to the public.
All Sint Maarten residents not yet registered for the COVID-19 vaccine can visit either of the two vaccination locations as a walk-in from Monday to Friday for on the spot registration and vaccination.
According to health authorities, no immigration checks are done when seeking the vaccine. All information of vaccine recipients is deleted after both doses of the vaccine is received.
The vaccination center staff speaks English as well as Spanish and French Creole. The staff members will happily assist anyone who wants the vaccine with registration.
All over the world, hundreds of millions of people have already taken vaccines against the COVID-19 virus. It is scientifically proven that the vaccine is safe and protects against the COVID-19 virus (including the UK variant, which is now dominant on St. Maarten).
