USLAUNDRY staff get jab talk

COLE BAY: USLAUNDRY collaborated with White and Yellow Cross Care Foundation to host a COVID-19 vaccine information session for all laundry staff.

USLAUNDRY, an industrial laundry serving the hospitality and healthcare industry, said it considers it very important for all staff members to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The company wanted its staff to make well-founded decisions and sought the assistance of WYCCF experts to share facts about the pandemic, vaccines and debunk internet myths.

WYCCF Director Bregje Boetekees provided the needed information and answered questions in the two-hour workshop. Several staff members registered on the spot for the vaccine using forms available in English, Spanish and Creole.

USLAUNDRY said: “Empowering everybody to get the COVID-19 vaccine avoids not only employees getting seriously ill but also helps to protect those around them.” The company hopes herd immunity will contribute to a much needed tourism rebound. The rebound will help the company and employees, because USLAUNDRY is a major supplier for hotels and tourism players.
