Created by Emmanuel Gimenez, the company “Carib Gènes” aims to improve the cattle population in Saint Martin by becoming a storage center for the reproduction of livestock. The ribbon cutting took place last Friday in the presence of the representative of the Prefecture of the Northern Islands and local elected officials.
This new concept in Saint Martin has obtained a sanitary approval issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and is part of a development approach of the local breeding.
The inauguration of “Carib Gènes” took place on Friday, April 30th, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Prefecture, Mickael Doré, Sofia Carti-Codrington, 3rd Vice President and Raj Charbhe, Territorial Councillor representing the Agriculture & Fishing Commission.
