The Elie Gibs and Ghislaine Rogers schools of Grand-Case were locked yesterday morning, probably by a parent who was unhappy about not having been heard by the Collectivité about the replacement of the water filter. Fortunately, everything was back in order a little later yesterday.
The Collectivité would like to reassure parents that the public water distributed to the school taps is perfectly potable. Filters have been added in each school so that children can have access to filtered water. The absence of a filter does not in any way affect the quality of the drinking water. However, to reassure the school community, the Collectivité proceeded yesterday, with the support of the CTOS, to the installation of two new filters, in each of the two schools.
