POND ISLAND: St. Maarten Festival Village and WIFOL building on Walter Nisbeth Road are two main drop-off points for relief items to assist the St. Vincent people affected by the volcano eruptions. Drop-off locations open are accessible daily from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
The St. Vincent Support Group Effort will also place boxes at major supermarkets for donations of nonperishable items.
The most urgently needed supplies are:
Food Bottled water, cereal, canned foods, sugar, flour, rice, and children snacks
Baby Wipes, formula, clothing, (babies and adults) diapers
Personal Toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, hand sanitizers, feminine hygiene products, bath towels, toilet paper, masks, pain killers, blankets, adult and children clothing, shoes, slippers, rubber boots and socks
Household Sheets, pillows, batteries
This relief drive is in collaboration with St. Vincent’s National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) and is supported by the Adventist Development Relief Agency, Firefighters Association, WIFOL, the Caribbean Unity Foundation, Tradewinds Cruise Club, K1 Brittannia Foundation, and Alicia Stay Foundation.
