After the success of the first vaccination operation held on Saturday, March 27th in Quartier d’Orléans, the Prefecture of the Northern Islands and the Regional Health Agency (ARS) are setting up a new vaccination campaign this Saturday, April 10 at the Jérôme Beaupère elementary school in Sandy-Ground from 8 :00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The entire population over 18 years old is invited to come and get vaccinated, with proof of address (electricity, telephone, water bill…).
Vaccination is free, no appointment is necessary and the vaccine used is Moderna.
Other operations are already planned:
– Saturday, April 17th at the Maison Solidarité Famille in Concordia.
– Saturday, April 24th at the Maison Solidarité Famille in Quartier d’Orléans.
The Prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin and the Agence Régionale de Santé reminds the public that the objective of vaccination is to reduce the number of severe forms of the virus and consequently mortality.
The Louis-Constant Fleming Hospital is continuing to provide vaccinations with Pfizer Bio Ntech, by appointment from Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon.
Appointments can be made via the sante.fr website.
The Astra Zeneca vaccine is also available in Saint-Martin, directly from doctors, pharmacists, nurses and midwives.
