MARIGOT: Four projects aimed at preventing and combating poverty were selected for execution on the French side of the island. These form part of the 100-million-euros national recovery plan “France Relance”.
The association Numérique Innovation Sociale (ANIS) Saint-Martin, Sem Ta Route, the French Red Cross and the association Contre l›Exclusion et la Délinquance (ACED) will execute the four projects selected for St. Martin.
The St. Martin branch of the Red Cross will receive 100,000 euros to transform its Mobile Social Intervention Team EMIS into a Mobile Social Intervention and Care Team EMIS-S. ACED will receive 40,000 euros for an intergenerational exchange project that offers fruit and vegetable cuttings on among others.
ANIS will working on the inequality of technology use among young people with its 27,000 euros award. Sem Ta Route will create a second BABY›DOU daycare center in Quartier d›Orléans using the 23,400 euros that was granted to the organization.
