POND ISLAND: St. Maarten residents in needs of a registration form can obtain one from the Government’s Civil Registry Department without an appointment on Saturday, April 24, from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Government Administration Building on Pond Island.
This walk-in service is only for registration forms; no other registry services will be rendered to the public at this extraordinary opening.
To obtain print out of a registration form, the requestor must have a valid St. Maarten issued identification card or valid passport. The cost for a registration form is NAf. 17.50 or US $10.
Registration forms indicate a person’s legal name, date of birth, address, and other vital statistics. The forms are required to access many different services from opening bank accounts to getting water and electricity connections in lieu of any other utilities bills bearing the service requestor’s name.
An appointment is usually required to access services from the Civil Registry Department.
