The event was well attended last Friday at the SM’Art Faxinfo Art Gallery in Bellevue, for the opening of Didier Rouxel’s photo exhibition on Japan through the island of Shikoku and it’s 88 temples. Everyone praisedthe exceptional quality of the exhibition and the variety of the works exhibited. Hats off!
A true photography enthusiast, Didier Rouxel offers a journey through his superb pictures which show the beauty of the Japanese archipelago. An exhibition out of time where the artist wished to highlight this rural Japan, often unknown to the general public. He invites people to relive with him his emotional stay through splendid photographs taken on the spot.
More rural than touristic, the island of Shikoku is famous for its rich nature and its pilgrimage of 88 Buddhist temples. Whatever the goal, the Shikoku pilgrimage is an adventure rich in adventures, teachings and memories that mark a life. Didier Rouxel, who never separates himself from his camera, knew how to immortalize all these moments of life and emotions. Bravo to the artist! Now it’s your turn to enjoy it at the SM’Art Faxinfo Art Gallery in Bellevue. The exhibition is open to the public until April 30th. This event is not to be missed!
