The latest health bulletin from the Dutch authorities dated April 6th, 2021 reports 13 new people tested positive for Covid-19. This brings the total number of active cases to 35 and the total number of registered cases to 2164 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Collective Prevention Services (CPS) is monitoring 34 individuals placed in home isolation, all with suspected coronavirus-related symptoms.
The total number of Covid-19-related deaths is 27.
The number of people cured since the first reported case has increased to 2102.
Otherwise, another 58 people are also under surveillance after possibly coming into contact with an active case.
The dedicated team of the Department of Public Health, Social Development and Labor (VSA), in collaboration with the Health Care Laboratory Sint Maarten (HCLS), has tested 2644 travelers arriving at Princess Juliana International Airport and 24628 people nationwide.
